Descrizione Album
È un album di ambient-elettronico suonato con sintetizzatori analogici e chitarre, dove immagini nitide di esplorazioni siderali si alternano con altre più astratte e dilatate di calma neurale. Mentre le pulsazioni delle macchine si intrecciano con gli interventi strumentali, residui della forma-canzone riaffiorano all’orizzonte di inediti paesaggi sonori. L’album racconta due diversi viaggi nello spazio interno – il paesaggio della coscienza – sotto forma di voli spaziali con equipaggio. Nel primo viaggio (Tracce 1- 4) l’astronauta riesce a realizzare la sua più grande ambizione: spostarsi al di fuori di spazio e tempo e restarci. Nel secondo viaggio (Tracce 5- 8) invece qualcosa va storto, l’orbita non si stabilizza e il viaggiatore, costretto ad un atterraggio di emergenza, ritorna sulla terra. Due viaggi, due possibilità di vita, le sole degne di portare questo nome: o si riesce a trascendere le coordinate umane o non si può far altro che ricominciare a provarci. Dedicato a James Graham Ballard (1.930 – 2.09).

Vega Lee e John Nova sono un duo di musicisti e produttori del futuro prossimo. Alla metà del 2.19, Veganova, la loro città sulla costa nord mediterranea, viene ufficialmente isolata dal resto del mondo. Da allora i due trasmettono clandestinamente onde elettroniche di resistenza: codici, mappe, istruzioni sonore per mantenere attivi i poteri dell’immaginazione umana oramai in stato d’assedio ovunque ci sia ancora traccia di vita. La Blue Spiral Records ha captato questi segnali e deciso di distribuire il loro primo album iSpace Dramas.

Album description
An electronic ambient album, recorded using analog synths and guitars, where images from space exploration alternate with peaceful neural abstractions. While the pulsing of the machines intertwines with the instruments, song-forms appear on the horizon of previously unheard soundscapes. It’s the sound of two inner-space journeys in the form of manned outer-space flights. In the first journey (Tracks 1 – 4), the astronaut achieves his highest ambition: to move himself out of time and space and stay there. In the second (Tracks 5 – 8), something goes wrong and the traveller is forced to return to earth and make an emergency landing. The album thus presents two different ways of looking at life. Either to succede in transcending the human coordinates or to keep trying again and again. Dedicated to James Graham Ballard (1.930 – 2.09)
The Artists
Vega Lee and John Nova are a musicians and producers duo from the near future. By the middle of 2.19, Veganova, their town on the mediterranean coast, became officially isolated from the rest of the world. Since, they have been illegally transmitting electronic waves of resistance: codes, maps and sound instructions in order to keep the power of the imagination alive. The Blue Spiral Records picked up these signals and decided to release and distribute their first album iSpace Dramas.
