Marzo 2020. Il mondo intero sta combattendo contro una epidemia causata da un pericoloso virus, il COVID-19. Le città si sono svuotate. Non esiste più brusio e caos. Un silenzio violento ha aggredito le nostre esistenze frenetiche. Ognuno di noi vive le proprie personali angosce restando dentro casa. Reagire ci è sembrata l’unica cosa sensata da fare. Abbiamo quindi cercato di capire come poter sostenere le istituzioni e permettere loro di lavorare al meglio per fronteggiare l’emergenza, visto che in molti ospedali manca del materiale medico-sanitario. L’idea è stata quindi quella di raccogliere fondi da destinare a chi si sta occupando di cercare e sperimentare una cura contro il virus. Abbiamo quindi chiesto a tutti i nostri artisti di scrivere un brano che potesse descrivere attraverso il loro universo musicale il momento che ognuno di noi sta vivendo. Il risultato è un album intitolato ”Here And Now”, fatto di composizioni pianistiche ma anche di elementi sonori di fondo, come quelli presenti nelle abitazioni, o provenienti dall’esterno: da quelle città silenziosamente assordanti al cui suono oramai tutti siamo abituati. Doneremo il 100% dei proventi alla Regione Campania che provvederà a destinare il denaro all’ospedale Pascale di Napoli dove un team di specialisti sta lavorando duramente ogni giorno per sperimentare una cura efficace contro il virus.

March 2020. The whole world is fighting a pandemic caused by a mysterious virus, COVID-19. Cities are empty. There is no more buzz and chaos. A “violent” silence has attacked our frenetic existence. Each of us now forced to live own personal anxieties by staying at home. Reacting seemed the only thing to do. We therefore tried to understand how we could support institutions and allow them to do their best to deal with this emergency, given that in many hospitals there is no medical-health material. The idea was to raise funds for those who are looking for, and experimenting with a cure for the virus. So we asked all of our artists to write a piece of music that could describe the moment that each of us are experiencing. The result is an album entitled “Here and Now”, consisting of piano compositions but also of background sound elements, such as those present in homes, or coming from outside: from those silently deafening cities whose sound we are all used to now. We will donate 100% of the proceeds to the Regione Campania in southern Italy, who will allocate the money to the Pascale hospital in Naples, where a team of specialists are working hard every day, in an attempt to find an effective treatment against the virus.
