In questo brano volevo catturare un senso di ottimismo, la sensazione positiva che ti porta a pensare che qualsiasi cosa possa accadere alla fine andrà tutto bene. L’armonia è estremamente “calda” con una sottile melodia che ci accompagna in un viaggio fin dalla prima nota.
L’artista
Elliott Jacqués è un pianista e compositore contemporaneo. Il suo stile neoclassico si ispira alle influenze del mondo classico e del jazz. Essendo cresciuto in una famiglia di musicisti, c’era sempre un pianoforte in casa ed Elliott ha iniziato a sperimentare suonando le prime note fin dall’età di quattro anni. Le esplorazioni musicali di Elliott sono tematiche influenzate da elementi della natura, spesso ispirate alla bellezza dei paesaggi. Ogni brano mira a raccontare una storia e a creare la sensazione di un viaggio.

‘Hope’ is the thing with feathers that perches in the soul – and sings the tunes without the words – and never stops at all’ – Emily Dickinson. I wanted to capture a sense of optimism within this piece of music, a sense that no matter what happens everything will be fine in the end. The harmony is extremely warm with a subtle melody that takes you on a journey right from the first note.
The Artist
Elliott Jacqués is a contemporary pianist and composer. His neo-classical style draws on influences from both the classical and jazz worlds. Growing up in a musical family, there was always a piano in the household and Elliott begun experimenting playing his first notes from the age of four years old. Elliott’s musical explorations are extremity thematic and inspired by elements of nature, often visualising the beauty of landscapes. Each track aims to tell a story and take you on a journey.
